Oliver's Rotary Beach is no longer on a swimming advisory, which was put in place earlier this month.

In a social media post on Monday, the Town of Oliver notified people of the change.

"Water samples have returned test results within acceptable levels for recreational water use," reads the post.

Earlier in September, Interior Health placed Rotary Beach on a swimming advisory due to poor microbiological water quality from Sept. 3 sampling.

Over the summer, the health unit found Tuc-el-nuit Lake had high levels of E. coli, making the water unsuitable for recreational swimming.

Beach advisories are issued when there is a risk to health and safety.
