The final of the Ascent condo development in the Upper Mission is ready for construction.

Highstreet Ventures, which is constructing the four-building development, recently received building permits from the city to begin the next phase.

Each of the permits is valued at $17.4 million.

The first building is nearing completion with move-in slated for December, while the second building is already under construction with completion expected in the spring of 2025.

Kelowna city council gave its approval for the 296 unit development in May of 2023.

It’s being built as part of an overall village centre in The Ponds area of the Upper Mission.
