Join walk for reconciliation

The Penticton public is welcome to join the Okanagan Nation Alliance for a Walk for Reconciliation Monday morning.

Starting at 10 a.m. at the Safeway parking lot, the walk on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation will stretch two kilometres to the residential school monument outside the Penticton Hatchery on En'owkin Trail.

Lunch will be available at the monument, with priority given to Syilx Nation residential school survivors, elders and nation members.

The walk is open to all. Participants are asked to wear orange, blue or green to show support.
