Police are investigating a spate of incidents of criminal damage in Torpoint. A number of garages and a vehicle were spray painted with graffiti, with two garages also being damaged.

On Monday, September 16, a garage door was spray painted and dented on Wellington Street. A few days later, on the evening of Saturday, September 21, another garage door was damaged in Antony Road.

The same evening, a further garage door had graffiti sprayed on it. A vehicle at the same property was also sprayed, police have said.

Police believe two people believed to be involved travelled through the service lane behind Antony Road. The graffiti featured the tag 'WDS'.

Police are now appealing for anyone who has doorbell footage in the areas to come forward. A statement from Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police are appealing for doorbell footage following a number of incidents involving criminal damage to vehicles and garage doors in Torpoint.

"On Monday 16 September a garage door was sprayed on and dented in Wellington Street. Then, on the evening of Saturday 21 September a garage door was damaged in Antony Road and graffiti sprayed on a garage door and vehicle at a second property that same evening.

"The graffiti featured the tag ‘WDS’. Officers investigating the criminal damage would like to hear from anybody else who has had their property targeted, as well as anybody with information or relevant doorbell footage in the area.

"It is believed two suspects may have travelled along the service lane behind Anthony Road and crossed Well Park Road on 21 September. Anybody able to assist should contact police on 101 or via our website quoting 50240240621."
