SSC Board exams from March 17, Intermediate public exams from March 1

Exams have been scheduled on alternate days to help students prepare better and reduce their stress, says Lokesh

The Andhra Pradesh Board of Secondary Education and the Board of Intermediate Education released the schedules for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam and the Intermediate Public Examination (IPE)- 2025 respectively on Wednesday.

Minister for Human Resource Development (HRD) Nara Lokesh posted on X saying that the exams had been scheduled on alternate days to help the students prepare better and reduce their stress. “Make the most of this extra time to study and aim for excellent scores,” he said, wishing them success in their academic endeavours.

The SSC Board exams will be held from March 17, 2025 to March 31, 2025. The 10th class students will write their exam in First Language (Group-A) and First Language Paper-I (Composite Course) on March 17; Second Language on March 19; English on March 21; First Language Paper-II (Composite Course) and OSSC Main Language Paper-I (Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian) on March 22; Mathematics on March 24; Physical Science on March 26; Biological Science on March 28; OSSC Main Language Paper-II (Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian) and SSC Vocational Course (Theory) on March 29; and Social Studies on March 31, 2025.

Inter exams schedule

Intermediate first year students will write their exams from March 1 to March 19, 2025, while their seniors in final year will write their exams from March 3 to March 20, 2025.

The first year students will write Part-II: 2nd Language Paper-I on March 1; Part-I: English Paper-I on March 4; Part-III: Mathematics Paper-IA, Botany Paper-I and Civics Paper-I on March 6; Mathematics Paper-IB, Zoology Paper-I and History Paper-I on March 8; Physics Paper-I and Economics Paper-I on March 11; Chemistry Paper-I, Commerce Paper-I, Sociology Paper-I and Fine Arts, Music Paper-I on March 13; Public Administration Paper-I, Logic Paper-I and Bridge Course Mathematics Paper-I (for BiP.C students) on March 17; and Modern Language Paper-I and Geography Paper-I on March 19, 2025.

For Intermediate final year students, Part-II: Second Language Paper-II is scheduled on March 3; Part-I: English Paper-II on March 5; Part-III: Mathematics Paper-II A, Botany Paper-II and Civics Paper-II on March 7; Mathematics Paper-II B, Zoology Paper-II and History Paper-II on March 10; Physics Paper-II and Economics Paper-II on March 12; Chemistry Paper-II, Commerce Paper-II, Sociology Paper-II and Fine Arts, Music Paper-II on March 15; Public Administration Paper-II, Logic Paper-II and Bridge Course Mathematics Paper-II (for B.PC students) on March 18; and Modern Language Paper-II and Geography Paper-II on March 20, 2025.

Ethics and Human Values examination will be held on February 1 and Environmental Education test on February 3. Practical exams will be conducted from February 10 to February 20, 2025 for general courses and from February 5 to February 20 for vocational courses.
