HMWS&SB OTS scheme last date today 

The One Time Settlement-2024 (OTS) scheme for payment of long-pending water bill arrears with Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) will end on Saturday (November 30).

There is no need to pay any interest or late fee, if the original amount pending is paid within the deadline, officials said, appealing to all users to make the best of the scheme.

The scheme launched in October continued till the end of that month. However, timed with festivals and people travelling, the scheme could not be used fully.

The Board got an extension till November 30 after it wrote to the government and reported the circumstances. And a further postponement now is not likely, said officials, and cautioned that action will be initiated soon against users with arrears, even including disconnections.

Payments on the last day, Saturday, can be made at the Board’s offices, Mee-Seva points, directly to the area lineman and through the official website www.hyderabadwater.gov.in
