Fervour marks Kendriya Vidyalaya Foundation Day at Sambra

The 62nd Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Foundation Day was celebrated with fervour at Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1 AFS, Sambra, in Belagavi on Saturday with the theme “Honouring the past, pioneering the future”. As part of the celebration, an exhibition was also organised on the school premises.

Principal of the vidyalaya Sandeep Acharya highlighted the various flagship programmes of KV and called upon students to strive towards excellence.

He also inaugurated a TLM (Teaching Learning Material) exhibition organised to mark the occasion.

The exhibition showcased to the public how teaching learning is a real fun and effective in the school with all the various material procured under PM SHRI scheme.

The alumni of the vidyalaya, including Professor and HOD of Maratha Mandal Dental College Sadanand Kulkarni, advocate Satish Biradar and retired teachers Nandan Harlekar and Shivaji Kednurkar, recalled their association with the school and called upon students to make the best use of the opportunities being made available to them.

The celebrations concluded with cultural programmes by students and also by teachers.
