APPSC releases exam schedules for Forest Range Officer and NTRUHS Junior Assistant posts

The tests for the posts of Forest Range Officers and Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences Junior Assistant will be held on March 16 and 17, 2025 respectively

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) on December 11 (Wednesday) released the schedules for the written examinations (Computer-based tests) for the posts of Forest Range Officers in Andhra Pradesh Forest Service and Junior Assistant in Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences.

In a statement, APPSC Secretary J. Pradeep Kumar said the two examinations would be held on March 16 and 17, 2025 respectively in the forenoon and afternoon sessions.

The candidates will write the exam for the post of Forest Range Officers in A.P. Forest Service in the morning session (9.30 a.m. to 12 noon) in Part-I-General Studies and Mental Ability and Mathematics, and Part-B- General Forestry- I & II on March 16, 2025.

Candidates for the post of Junior Assistant in Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (Main Examination) will write Paper-I comprising social history of Andhra Pradesh i.e. the history of social and cultural movements in Andhra Pradesh and general overview of the Indian Constitution on March 17 in the morning session.

In the afternoon session (2.30 p.m. to 5 p.m.), they will write Paper-II comprising Indian and A.P. economy and Science and Technology.

Departmental tests

Mr. Pradeep Kumar said the APPSC would conduct the November-2024 session of the departmental tests from December 18 to December 23, 2024. These tests would be conducted at 21 district centres in Andhra Pradesh.

A total of 37,965 candidates have applied for the tests, he said, adding that the candidates can download their hall tickets from the commission’s website from December 12, 2024, till the last date of examination i.e. December 23, 2024.
