Two killed in road accident in Krishnagiri

Two youngsters were killed in an accident in Krishnagiri district on Sunday (December 15, 2024) evening.

The deceased have been identified as M. Tamilarasu, 20, a resident of Anna Nagar in Perumkonapalli near Mathur, who worked in a bakery, and his friend S. Karthick, 17, a resident of Kottur.

On Sunday, the duo was headed to Krishnagiri by bike. When they approached a turn at Thorapalli, the bike collided with a car coming from the opposite direction.

They sustained grievous injuries and died on the spot. The Mathur police sent the two bodies to Krishnagiri Government Hospital for postmortem examination, and registered a case.
