Associate director from Telugu film industry booked for sexual assault of junior artist

The Jubilee Hills police have booked Shaik Ghouse Moinuddin, an associate director in the Telugu film industry, for allegedly sexually assaulting a female junior artist under false promise of marriage.

The victim, a 27-year-old woman, was living with the man in Jubilee Hills, for the past three years.

According to a senior official from the Jubilee Hills police, the woman was no longer living with the man she was married to. “She joined the industry as a junior artist and was living with Shaik Ghouse for the past three years. The accused sexually assaulted her on false marriage promise and later married another woman,” the official said.

Following a complaint from the victim, the police booked a case and initiated a probe into the matter.
