TDP leaders make a beeline for paying tributes to the departed leader during the 10th day rituals performed at Naravaripalle

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu paid tributes to his younger brother and former Chandragiri MLA Nara Ramamurthy Naidu, who breathed his last 10 days ago, and consoled his bereaved family members.

Participating in the rituals marking the 10th day of his demise at a solemn event organised at their ancestral village Naravaripalle, near here, on Thursday, Mr. Naidu paid floral tributes to the portrait of his younger brother.

He was followed by his son and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh, Deputy Speaker K. Raghu Ramakrishna Raju, Cabinet Ministers K. Atchannaidu, V. Anitha, A. Satya Prasad, B.C. Janardhan Reddy, K.. Ravindra, N. Rama Naidu, M. Ramprasad Reddy, S. Savitha, and V. Subash, BJP State president and Rajahmundry MP D. Purandeswari, MLCs K. Srikanth and C. Subramanyam, among others.

Mr. Naidu had lunch in the company of his relatives and residents of the nearby villages. As many as 40,000 people had lunch on the occasion, said Chandragiri MLA Pulivarthi Nani, who looked after the arrangements.

Later, the Nara family members offered prayers at the Seshachala Lingeswara Swamy temple at the nearby Kandulavaripalle village.
