New photos of missing man released as police believe he 'walked into woodland'

New photos have been released of a missing man from Bolton who has not been seen since the early hours of Sunday morning (November 3).

Paul, whose surname was not disclosed by police, was reported missing after his last known location was originally said to have been Felsham Close, in Bolton, at around 1.20am.

New CCTV images released by Greater Manchester Police show Paul walking along Buckley Lane onto Cleggs Lane at around 2.30am. The force believes he either entered Salford or walked to the nearby woodlands footpath.

Paul is described as a white male, around 5ft 4ins tall, and of a stocky build. He has short brown hair and was last seen wearing a grey Nike hoodie, blue jeans, and black and white trainers.

Officers are 'becoming increasingly concerned' for Paul's welfare and want to 'make sure he is safe and well', Greater Manchester Police said.

The force shared a photo of Paul as part of the public appeal issued, as well as new stills from CCTV footage obtained as part of enquries.

An updated statement from the force said: "CTV enquiries have found that Paul was last seen walking along Buckley Lane onto Cleggs Lane around 2:30am where we believe he has either entered Salford or the nearby woodlands footpath. Any information, please call 999 or 0161 856 5546."
