BBC Strictly Come Dancing viewers say 'not a drill' as they spot famous face in audience

by · Manchester Evening News

Strictly Come Dancing fans were left saying it's 'not a drill' as they spotted more famous faces in the audience. In recent weeks, the people in the live studio audience have been getting more attention from viewers than the couples themselves.

The hit BBC One dance contest returned on Saturday night (October 12) as week four got underway following a spectacular Movie Week special last weeekend.

The latest live show also saw DIY SOS star Nick Knowles returnsto the dancefloor after he was unable to take part in last week’s movie-themed special due to injury.

He injured his knee after falling during rehearsals but was cleared to dance by the medical and physio teams, the BBC announced on Friday (October 11)

Nick and his professional dance partner Luba Mushtuk later performed the routine they had planned for movie week, a Charleston to Rain On The Roof from the Paddington 2 soundtrack.

But as the 13 remaining couples took to the floor, viewers were distracted as they spotted Ted Lasso star Trent Crimm watching the show.
