Dawn French's Marks & Spencer £35 Christmas blouse designed to 'hide tummy bulges'

Dawn French has been spreading festive cheer this season as the face of Marks and Spencer’s Christmas campaign - and looking incredibly glam while doing so. And one of her outfits has been praised by shoppers who said it’s 'very flattering' and ‘hides tummy bulges’.

Priced at £35, the Embroidered Crew Neck Puff Sleeve Blouse, was worn by the comedian for a number of the high street favourite’s social media videos this month. Now, fashion fans who bought it have praised its ‘lovely’, ‘not clingy’ design, reports the Mirror.

Designed in an easy, regular fit with pleating for a relaxed look, it’s been a hit among customers who have lauded its ability to 'hang nicely' and the fact that 'creases drop out very quickly'. The black blouse boasts white and green embroidery detailing across the chest with a subtle keyhole detail, and is finished with on-trend puff sleeves that add volume and stretchy cuffs to keep them in place while warding off the cold.

Available in sizes 6-24, it has garnered a 4.4 star rating from customers who claim it 'skirted over curves'. One shopper commented: "Good fit, hangs nice and not clingy, sleeves a good length too."

Another said: "Such a nice top. Very flattering. Any creases drop out very quickly. Looks great with white/cream trousers," while a third added: "Loved this top, it fits lovely, the sleeves are on the long side but you can just pull them up."

One customer rated the blouse three stars, stating: "Lovely blouse just too short in body length like most m and s tops recently." Another shopper found the sizing to be generous, remarking: "I'm normally a size 12 but bought a 8, which fitted perfectly. The blouse simply skirted over my curves."

A further glowing review read: "I'm a size 16/18 and ordered the size 16 and it fit perfectly. Flattering and hides tummy bulges when worn with a pair of jeans. Length sits just below the buttocks at a good place. I haven't washed it yet so can't comment on how it looks afterwards or whether it needs an iron."
