EastEnders top three spoilers for next week - including dangerous clash between two families

by · Manchester Evening News

Walford is never a dull place to live, but next week, the drama is set to heat up as new residents make enemies with their neighbours.

In forthcoming EastEnders episodes, Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) and his son Harry (Elijah Holloway) will find themselves entangled in a bitter feud with more than one family when youngest son Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman) becomes the centre of Ravi Gulati's attention.

The drama unfolds when Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) is caught texting a mysterious boy by Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury), and she begs her brother to keep quiet.

However, their dad, Ravi (Aaron Thiara), wastes no time confiscating Avani’s phone and tries to break into her messages with the help of her mum, Priya (Sophie Khan Levy). But Priya soon tells Ravi there’s nothing to worry about as their daughter has already confessed that she is going out with schoolmate Barney.

Ravi decides not to intrude on Avani's privacy and gives her phone back before she rushes off to meet her real love interest, Mason.

But Avani's romantic rendezvous with older boy Mason is short-lived when she confirms she isn't going to sleep with him, and he forces her to leave with a busted lip.

As Ravi and Priya enjoy a moment at Walford East, they are abruptly interrupted by an upset Avani. She tries to take cover, but Ravi is certain Barney is to blame and takes matters into his own hands.

When Ravi tries to make a spectacle of Barney, he comes to blows with Teddy, while Avani races to the scene to make her dad see sense. Outside the café, Teddy and Ravi square up to each other as the police arrive.

Later, at No.1, Teddy calls Harry with a plan to hit back at Ravi, but their actions leave the Panesars reeling. But what exactly have the new Mitchells done? And will they live to regret their decisions?

Harry is also in the bad books of Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) amid Teddy's threat to the police detective. But will they get away with their latest actions?

Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine) and Harry try to blackmail Jack, but the copper soon drops a secret bombshell on his daughter about her love interest.

At The Arches, Jack reluctantly agrees to turn a blind eye to Harry’s dodgy dealings, but what else is Harry hiding? Is Penny in danger?

Across the Square, Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) makes his comeback after time away training for his new job in the Minute Mart, unaware that his son Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) has once again lashed out at his mother Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace).

But Alfie soon realises something has happened between the mum and son, and he demands answers.

Kat finally admits Tommy injured her, so how will Alfie react, given his warning the last time this happened?

Later, at No.5D, the Moons and Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) sit down for a meal, but it isn’t long before chaos descends after an altercation between Tommy and Freddie escalates.

Kat continues to make excuses for Tommy’s bad behaviour, but at No. 31, Freddie finds himself under the spotlight as Jean (Gillian Wright) begins to suspect that he’s keeping a secret for Kat.

Will Tommy be punished for his abusive behaviour?
