Greater Manchester Police issue update as woman arrested after man hurt in 'disturbance'

Officers descended on the scene of the incident on Chelburn Place, in the Halliwell area, on Monday morning (November 18). Pictures showed a number of police vehicles stationed in the residential cul-de-sac off Hatfield Road.
A man - aged in his 40s - was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be 'life-changing or life-threatening'. A woman - aged in her 30s - was arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault.

She was taken into custody for questioning. In an update today (November 20), a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said she has since been released on bail.
No further details on the incident have been released at this stage. The force previously appealed for anyone with information, or any witnesses, to contact Bolton CID.
