Urgent police appeal over boy, 14, missing in Manchester for days
by Paul Britton · Manchester Evening NewsPolice searching for a missing teenage boy have issued an urgent appeal for the public's help to locate him.
Named only as Leon, the 14 year-old was last seen on Shadowbrook Avenue in the Wythenshawe area of Manchester on Thursday afternoon. The final sighting was confirmed at around 1pm that day.
Greater Manchester Police said the force was now becoming 'increasingly concerned and want to make sure he is safe and well'. A social media appeal is being shared with his picture.

Leon is described as white, slim with ginger hair. He was last seen wearing a black beanie-style hat, a blue Montrex coat and blue and black Nike tracksuit trousers.
Writing on X, formerly Twitter, GMP said: "Have you seen Leon from Burnage? Leon (14) was last seen on Shadowbrook Avenue at around 1pm on Thursday 12 December 2024. Officers are becoming increasingly concerned and want to make sure he is safe and well.
"Any info? Contact us on 101 quoting MSP/06A3/0002519/24."
