This is the touching a cat named John was saved by firefighters after she became wedged in a drainpipe. The incident involving the female feline took place on Saturday (November 23) in a garage in Clevedon, North Somerset.

The local fire crew was alerted just before 10am and promptly ascended ladders to reach John, eventually freeing her using small tools. Opting for what they described as the "easiest and least distressing option" they decided to cut out a section of the pipe containing John, sharing their strategy on Facebook.
