Search underway for woman and boy, 11, who went missing more than two weeks ago

A search is underway to track down a woman and a boy who went missing more than two weeks ago.

Anxhelina, 32, and Rojs, 11, were reported missing from the Hyde area of Tameside on Thursday, September 19. Searches for the pair have been underway since.

Today (October 7), Greater Manchester Police issued a public appeal for information on their whereabouts. The force said the pair are believed to have links to areas in London, Scotland and the North East.

Officers also shared pictures of Anxhelina and Rojs as part of the appeal for help to trace them. Anyone who spots them, or who has any information on their whereabouts, should get in touch with police.

In a post on the GMP Tameside Facebook page, officers said: "#MISSING | We are continuing to appeal for any information around missing Anxhelina (32) and Rojs (11) who have been missing from #Hyde since Thursday 19 September 2024. We believe that they have links to the North East, London and Scotland."
