Where to watch the US presidential election in UK tonight
by Miranda Pell · Manchester Evening NewsVoting has taken place across the United States of America today (5 November) to decide who will become the next president - Kamala Harris or Donald Trump.
Harris and Trump’s historic election campaigns have come to an end today and we will shortly learn who the next President of the United States will be.
Between Biden dropping out the race and Trump’s assassination attempts, it has been a tumultuous run-up to the election. Everyone across the globe will be anxiously awaiting the results.
Either way the results swing, it will be a historic moment for the winner. If Kamala Harris wins, she will be the first female, and first black female, President of the United States. If Donald Trump wins, he will be the first incoming president to have been indicted and convicted of a felony.
Around 77 million Americans have already voted and the race remains close in polls. Nobody knows which way it will swing. Will Trump return for his second term as president? Or will Harris win and maintain democratic presidency?
Across the UK we will be eagerly awaiting the results. Various channels will be broadcasting throughout the night, bringing updates live to your homes as they come in. Sky News, Channel 4, BBC and ITV will all be broadcasting live coverage of the US Presidential Election.
