People urged to call 999 if you they see missing woman, 44

Police have issued a public appeal after a woman with links to Manchester was reported as missing. Carolyn Houghton, 44, was last seen on October 3.

Carolyn, who has links to Wyre, Garstang, Lancaster, Blackpool and Manchester, was last seen at around 10am, with police now becoming 'increasingly concerned' for her welfare.

The 44-year-old is 5ft 2ins tall and has dark hair. She was last seen wearing a black jacket over a white top. Further details about the last sighting of Carolyn has not been confirmed.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is being urged to contact Lancashire Police immediately by calling 999.

In a post on Facebook, Garstang and Over Wyre Police said: "Have you seen Carolyn Houghton? She was last seen at about 10am on Thursday (October 3) and we are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.

"She was last seen wearing a black jacket over a white top. She has links to Wyre, Garstang and Lancaster, and Blackpool and Manchester."

Anyone with information is asked to call 999 and quote log 0703 of October 3.
