CCTV appeal after man 'befriended' by group who then beat and robbed him

Police have issued CCTV images of three suspects after a man was robbed in Manchester city centre. The victim had been befriended by a group who then beat him up before stealing items from him.

The incident happened at around 4:40am on Monday 27 May 2024, on Adair Street, in the Piccadilly Trading Estate, in Manchester.

GMP said in a statement: "It’s believed that the victim was befriended earlier in the night by a group of males, before he was robbed.

"Police are following several lines of enquiry, and have now released images of three men they would like to speak to as it’s believed they could assist with the investigation. They are also believed to have connections to the Uxbridge area of London."
