New CCTV issued as major search continues to find missing man

New CCTV footage of a missing man from Stockport has been released by police, as a major search continues to trace him.

Steven, 70, was reported missing on October 1. He was seen in video footage walking on Gorse Avenue in Marple at around 2:55pm.

Earlier on Wednesday (October 2), Greater Manchester Police revealed 'extensive enquiries' had been carried out 'to try and locate him'.

The force said he was also seen around 40 minutes after being captured on CCTV, on Hibbert Lane in Marple, walking in the direction of Goyt Mill.

He is described as 5ft 6ins tall with a bald head. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, black jeans, a white t-shirt with a black v-neck jumper, white trainers, and the coat shown in the footage.

Officers are now becoming 'increasingly concerned' about him and are appealing for the public's help to trace him.
