ITV I'm A Celebrity fans 'can't unsee it' as they're convinced star has famous 'twin'

Fans tuning into the first episode of the new series on ITV were convinced boxer Barry McGuigan had a twin and confused viewers took to social media to air their theories.
Several people pointed out that Irish boxer Barry looked like, and sounded like, Brendan O'Carroll, the actor who plays the loud-mouthed mammy Mrs Brown in Mrs Brown's Boys.

"Thought that was Mrs Brown at first but then realised it was a different man," one viewer wrote on X. "Why did I think Barry was Mrs Brown," another asked.
A third said: "Was confused if that was Barry mcguigan or Mrs Brown from Mrs Brown's Boys..."
Some viewers were convinced Barry and Brendan were the same person. "Barry is mrs brown don't be fooled," one said. "Barry McGuigan. ... Also famous for being in Mrs Brown's Boys," another added.
One viewer asked: "Has anyone ever seen Barry McGuigan and Mrs Brown from Mrs Brown’s Boys in the same room?" Another commented: "Barry should tell them he's the bloke who plays Mrs Brown."
Some were convinced the pair were twins. "I cannot unsee Barry being Mrs Brown absolute double," one said, while another added: "Have they swapped Barry McGuigan for Mrs brown they are twins."

"Barry McGuigan should play Mrs Brown's long lost sister as he and Brendan O'Carroll are very similar," another said. A final fan wrote: "Not me just finding out that Barry is a boxer and not the actor who plays Mrs Brown from Mrs Browns Boys."
Introducing Barry at the start of the show, presenter Declan Donnelly said that the former world championship boxer either had to do the ITV reality show or “fight a YouTuber on Netflix”.
Barry was selected by camp leaders singer Tulisa Contostavlos and Corrie star Alan Halsall to do the first trial, alongside Danny Jones from McFly. The trial saw the pair locked in a rectangular chambers as snakes crawled over them.
Barry had difficulties opening the padlocks to get stars and admitted to Danny he “couldn’t help him”, calling himself “useless” as he failed to get any locked open. Danny managed to win the pair five stars.
