Police want to speak to these men after 'thousands in cash' stolen in burglary

Police have released pictures of two men they want to speak to after a burglary in Moss Side.

An investigation was launched after the burglary on Lloyd Street North at around 6am on Sunday, August 4. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said 'thousands of pounds in cash' was stolen.

Officers now want to speak to the two men pictured as they believe they may have 'key information'. Anyone who recognises them is being urged to get in touch.

PC Guile, who is continuing to investigate the incident, said: "We understand the distress burglaries can have on victims and since this incident was reported we have been conducting a number of enquiries to track down those responsible. We are now able to appeal to the wider public, and particularly these two individuals, to be identified or come forward, as we believe they have key information that could help with our investigation.

"Anyone with details around this incident is asked to call 101 quoting incident 876 of 04/08/2024. Alternatively, details can be passed on anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
