Police issue urgent appeal over missing nine-year-old boy

Police have issued an urgent appeal to help trace a missing nine-year-old boy from Rochdale.

Elijah, whose last name was not given, was last seen at around 5pm on Dunoon Close in Heywood on Saturday (November 16).

Officers have released a picture of the schoolboy and are asking any members of the public with information on his whereabouts to get in touch.

Elijah is described as having a slim build with curly black hair. He was last seen wearing a black fortnite tracksuit with blue stripes and pink crocs.

In a post on X, Greater Manchester Police wrote: "Can you help police find a missing boy from #Rochdale? Elijah is 9 years old and was last seen on Dunoon Close in Heywood today at 5pm.

"Anyone with information about Elijah’s whereabouts should contact police on 0161 856 8507 or 101 quoting log MSP/06PP/0001848/24."
