Rape suspect on the run as police issue urgent warning he may be sleeping rough

by Ryan Fahey · The MirrorA manhunt has been launched after a rape suspect went on the run, with police warning he may be sleeping on the streets.
Craig Dorney, 35, of Lewisham, is due to stand trial on Monday, December 2 after being charged with rape. On Tuesday, he breached his bail conditions with police issuing a warrant for his arrest.
Appealing to the public for help, the Metropolitan Police has released an image of Dorney - and described him as a slim, 6ft1 white man with an Irish accent.
DC James Hart, from the South East area’s Public Protection team, said: “We would urge anyone with information regarding Dorney’s whereabouts to urgently get in touch with us. We believe that he might currently be sleeping rough in and around London.”
