Jamie Redknapp names two reasons why he feels sorry for Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag

The Red Devils fell to an embarrassing 3-0 defeat at the hands of Tottenham at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon. The pressure is once again ramping up on Ten Hag, who only signed a new contract in the summer.
United have started the Premier League season with three defeats in seven games. That poor form has left them sitting 12th in the table, six points adrift of the top four.
With Ten Hag feeling the heat, Redknapp has admitted he sympathises with the Dutchman, particularly over the fact he looks out of his depth and is struggling to motivate his players. That did not stop the former Tottenham star from piling on the misery though.
"It gets to a point where you almost feel sorry for the manager as well. He looks completely out of his depth, he looks like he's struggling to motivate his team," Redknapp told Sky Sports.
"If you're under pressure as a manager, this is where you want to come because you get all your confidence back. It was so easy for Tottenham. They looked comfortable, calm, under no duress.
"Man Utd and Ten Hag are going backwards. You can't complain anymore, he's got his back four in place, he's got all the players at his disposal - there's no excuses. They are rock bottom right now."
Attention will now likely start to turn to who could replace Ten Hag. And Redknapp certainly believes there is no way back for the beleagured Dutchman following Sunday's miserable defeat.

"I just don't see where they can go from here. They're as bad as I've seen a United side. It's embarrassing. A club of this stature shouldn't be producing performances like that," he added.
"They've been outworked and that's been the most damning thing for me over the last few games. Man Utd has become a graveyard for great players. Anyone that comes here seems to go downhill.
"You think of the chances they should be creating, you should be licking you lips. If you're signing here as a centre forward with players like Garnacho and Rashford and you'll get so many opportunities - it's just not happening. Everyone, for whatever reason, is devoid of any confidence and belief."
United held off from immediately sacking Ten Hag despite the awful defeat to Spurs. But they now face a challenging run of Porto away in the Europa League before they travel to Aston Villa ahead of the international break.
