There were reports of "multiple people covered in blood" in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, in the early hours of this morning. One photo showed police on Stafford Street at about 4am.
One reader of Mirror affiliate StokeonTrentLive reported it had been "kicking off" in the early hours of the morning. The Reader told the outlet: "Yet again another weekend of a high police presence on Stafford Street where it was kicking off.
"Multiple people covered in blood. There were six police cars and one riot van and Stafford Street was closed at both ends for about 20 minutes."
The case of reported violence comes after 20 people were involved in a brawl in Stafford Street last weekend.
