A YouTuber spent £30,000 on an entire pre-assembled home on Amazon.

Nathan Graham, who runs the "Unspeakable" YouTube channel, bought the property on Jeff Bezos' platform for a bargain at just $38,999 (£30,815).

The 26-year-old challenged the online retailer to supply a house, with all the furnishings that you'd usually find in a property. When the house arrived, it came in a box containing a bathroom and windows among all the other essentials. However, it didn't contain any instructions, Nathan said.

He also ran into trouble when he tried hooking up a tiny fridge. The 22ft by 19ft expandable house from Cherry Industrial didn't contain any outlets. In the unboxing video, he said: “I’m trying to find somewhere to plug in the fridge but there’s no electrical outlets."

One of his friends asked: "Did you not order the electrical package?”

He admitted that he failed to read the product description in full as it stated: “Reminder: Mobile Prefab House is not wired. Please hire an electrician for American standard wiring. Stay safe!”

Thankfully, Nathan had bought a generator with a plan to wire some of the more important items like the fridge and his 80-inch television. In addition to what came in the box, he bought a bunk bed, sofa, tables, vacuum, games, food and appliances for the kitchen.

Another disclaimer on Amazon explains that the property doesn't include household appliances, furniture, running water source or connection to drainage pipes, meaning they need to be supplied by the buyer. But it does include a built-in bathroom and shower, and cabinets in the kitchen.

When removed from the box, the property looks like it couldn't possibly be what is described, but once it's unfolded, it's clear it has four walls, windows and a roof. Nathan explained that almost anything can be ordered from the retail giant, but that it's important to read the fine print.
