Bukayo Saka fires three-word warning to Liverpool and Man City after clear Arsenal message

Bukayo Saka has issued a title warning to rivals Liverpool and Manchester City after Arsenal returned to winning ways.

Saturday saw the Gunners claim a 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the Premier League to end a run of four top-flight fixtures without a victory.

Saka opened the scoring at the Emirates Stadium before goals from Thomas Partey and Ethan Nwaneri secured the three points against Forest.

Saka had been an injury doubt for Arsenal going into the game after withdrawing from the England squad during the international break. Saka suffered a potential injury during the draw with Chelsea earlier this month but recovered in time to star for the Gunners in their win over Forest in North London.

The win from Arsenal saw Mikel Arteta's side move to six points behind leaders Liverpool going into their match against Southampton on Sunday afternoon.

Arsenal were handed a boost in the title race hours after their victory over Forest when Man City lost 4-0 at home to Tottenham Hotspur.

After helping Arsenal claim a vital three points against Forest, Saka issued a warning to both Liverpool and City with a message on social media. The 23-year-old wrote a three-word message on his Instagram story.

"Back on track," wrote Saka. The goal from the England international was his fifth in all competitions this season and fourth in the Premier League.

Arsenal will now prepare for a return to Champions League action on Tuesday night when they face Sporting Lisbon, who have new manager Joao Pereira at the helm following Ruben Amorim's switch to Manchester United. The Gunners will then face West Ham in the Premier League as they look to further close the gap on their title rivals.
