Ballistic Missile Intercepted over Tel Aviv Region, Explosions Heard as Far as Jerusalem

Rocket alerts went off in the greater Tel Aviv region on Thursday night, at around 12:41 AM. Residents report an interception.

A series of explosions was heard as far as Jerusalem.

The IDF says that a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis from Yemen was successfully intercepted.

The interception was accomplished by an Arrow missile.

The IDF explained that the multiple explosions that were heard were from the interception and parts of the missile.

One person was moderately wounded from a traffic accident. Sixteen more people were injured running to the bomb shelters.

The Houthis are another proxy terror group of Iran.
