Woman due in court charged over Kerry meth lab seizure

A woman is due in court this afternoon charged in connection with the seizure of €15,000 worth of cocaine and suspected crystal meth, as well as meth lab equipment in Kerry.

The woman, aged in her 40s, was arrested on Thursday following a garda operation in the Killarney area.

€14,000 worth of cocaine and €1,000 worth of suspected crystal meth were seized after a home was searched during the operation.

In addition, gardaí found components of a meth lab.

The arrested woman is due to appear before a special sitting of Cork City District Court at 4.15pm.
