This is the moment a van went on fire on a quiet residential street. Fire crews were called to Heol Caegwyn in Drefach, Carmarthenshire, on Sunday afternoon.

The white van was well alight when crews from Tumble and Pont-iets Fire Stations arrived at the scene just after 2pm.

A spokesman for Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews responded to one private motor vehicle that was well alight on their arrival. Crews utilised one breathing apparatus set, two hose reel jets, one thermal imaging cameras and cutters and spreaders to extinguish the fire. Crews left the scene at 2.59pm."

Fire crews also dealt with a bus fire on the A470 near Libanus over the weekend. Dramatic video showed the bus well alight on the A470 in the early hours of Sunday morning. The road was closed for several hours on Monday so emergency repair work could be made to the road surface.
