Woman found dead at home as police launch investigation

Police are investigating the sudden death of a woman at her home in Cwmbach, Aberdare. South Wales Police confirmed the "sudden and unexplained death" of a 51-year-old woman at her home in Bryngolwg.

A statement from South Wales Police said it was reported them at 10.50am on Friday, October 11. A spokesman for the force said: "The woman’s family has been informed and an investigation is underway to establish the cause and circumstances of her death."
