Brilliant photographs show one incredible Halloween house standing out on a Liverpool street. The ECHO recently reported how Rob Clayton, 40, and his partner Steven, 37, spent £800 on decorations and two days transforming their home on Utting Avenue East in Norris Green ahead of October 31.

Boasting everything from ghostly animatronics and a smoke machine to green bulbs illuminating the windows and more, the display is already attracting a lot of attention, despite Halloween being over a fortnight away. Rob told the ECHO: "I've always done Halloween but we've not done it to this extent. This is the first time we’ve done it like this.

"We're the only ones on the street with decorations so far but the neighbours love it, next-door have been bringing their kids. People have been going past on the bus and taking selfies and people driving have been stopping their cars and getting out and taking photos.

"There’s a school across the road so it's good for the kids to know they can come here for Halloween night." The ECHO visited the house in Norris Green to see the spooky decorations to scale and got a preview of the smoke machine to see the home in full effect ahead of October 31.

Rob and Steven have not only decorated the house for the enjoyment of the community, but to fundraise for The James Bulger Memorial Trust. The charity was established in memory of murdered toddler James Bulger and offers holidays at their lodge near Blackpool to families and children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
