'You will be so missed' - Shock and sadness after sudden passing of beloved Kildare woman

Tributes have poured in following the sad and sudden death of Mags Rooney (née Kenny), late of Corballis, Castledermot, Kildare.
Mags passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, December 6. She is predeceased by her parents Lil and Joe and her sister Bridie.
She is deeply regretted by her loving son Mark, daughter-in-law Nicola, grandson Mikey, sisters Ann and Josie, brothers Joe and Tony, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, work colleagues and a large circle of friends.
Tributes have been paid on RIP.ie, from those who knew and fondly remembered Mags, with one mourner writing,
"Our deepest sympathies to the Rooney and Kenny families, and also to Horans & staff , on the sad & sudden passing of Mags. Always looked forward to getting served by Mags in Horan’s because of her cheerful greeting and well wishes on leaving the shop, which was : “Goodbye now and mind yourself” ! You’ll be sadly missed by more people than you can imagine because of your kind & friendly nature. May your gentle, kind & jolly soul rest in peace Mag."
Another wrote,
"Shocked and saddened today when I heard this news, i didn’t know Mag personally we only ever had a quick exchange of words when I would pop in to the garage before and after work, and what a lovely lady she was, I am sure she will be sorely missed by all that knew her, deepest sympathy to her family, friends and colleagues, Thinking of you all."
While another wrote,
"So sad to hear of the sudden and untimely death of Mag. She was such a friendly person with a kind word for all. Our sincere condolences to all her family, friends and the staff in Horan's. May she rest in peace."
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing in her sister Ann's residence (Eircode R14DN80) from 1pm on Thursday with Rosary at 8pm.
Removal on Friday morning at 11:15am to The Church Of The Assumption, Castledermot arriving for Requiem mass at 12noon, walking from the square followed by Burial in Coltstown Cemetery.
