Woman has husband's shotgun removed by the gardaí

A man’s shotgun was removed by the gardaí, a Naas District Court hearing was told.

His wife said she had this done  by the gardaí.

She also claimed that she is afraid of him and he calls her a f…… c… and “bangs and clatters around.”

The woman further alleged that he withdrew a weekly payment of €275 after she took €4,000 from an account to pay a solicitor.

“I had to borrow money off my sister,” she said.

The court was told the man, who was not present or represented, was told to reinstate this payment and he has issued divorce proceedings.

She said she does not work and added that the man had made video recordings of her on his phone and had done this when she was in a state of undress coming out of the shower.

An interim protection order was granted.
