Sentencing due for Kildare town resident who pleaded guilty to drink-driving

A man from Kildare town is due to be sentenced over a drink-driving offence he committed on the town’s Station Road.

Patrick Fitzpatrick, with an address listed as 3209 Maryville, Melitta Road, Kildare town, pleaded guilty to the offence, which he committed on July 10, 2022.

The plea was heard at Naas District Court on Thursday, October 3 last in front of Judge Desmond Zaidan.

The judge adjourned the case involving the 45-year-old to February 27, 2025.

He also remanded Mr Fitzpatrick on continuing bail until the case resumes for sentencing.
