Councils says it can't move bin store near Kildare apartments
by Paul O'Meara · Leinster LeaderA bid to have a bin store moved in Celbridge has failed.
At a Celbridge-Leixlip Municipal District meeting, Cllr Rupert Heather requested Kildare County Council to remove and relocate the bin store in front of the access gate to St Patrick's School in Primrose Gate Estate, Celbridge.
But according to KCC the bin store is not the property of, or under the control of the council. It added the structure was constructed by the developer of Primrose Gate estate under planning permission granted in 2008.
This development has not yet been taken in charge by KCC and “bin stores are serving apartment block developments that will not be taken in charge by KCC.”
