Man who appeared in Kildare court alleges that wife abducted their children

PROTECTION ORDER APPLICATION

by · Leinster Leader

An interim protection application which was sought by a man against his wife was denied at Naas District Court on Thursday, October 3 last.

The man told Judge Desmond Zaidan that he has 'serious concerns' about the mental health of his wife, but added that 'it wasn’t addressed until now.'

He added: "She abducted our children out of the family home and took them out of school without my knowledge."

The man further said that his wife has experienced 'outbursts of rage', which he told her GP about.

While Judge Desmond Zaidan denied his request for an interim protection order, he suggested to the man to go to his nearest garda station if he has any concerns before the next court date.

The judge adjourned the case to a date in November for hearing.
