Kildare students' artworks chosen for 2025 Texaco Children’s Art Competition Calendar
‘A Good Day’s Fishing’ by 16-year old Joseph Finn and ‘Generations’, by 14-year-old student Lily Seery were selected
by Daragh Nolan · Leinster LeaderTwo prizewinning artworks by Kildare students have been chosen to illustrate the 2025 Texaco Children’s Art Competition Calendar, just published, and will be seen in thousands of homes throughout Ireland during the coming year.
‘Generations’, by 14-year-old Kildare student Lily Seery, from St. Wolstan’s Community School, Celbridge, will appear during the month of March and ‘A Good Day’s Fishing’, by 16-year old Joseph Finn, from Salesian College, Celbridge, features throughout the month of August.

Both Special Merit Award winners in this year’s 70th competition, their artworks were commended by the adjudication panel as ‘demonstrating high levels of skill and imagination’.
Calendars are currently available through a select number of Texaco service stations and through Texoil, Valero’s own home heating oil division.
