Saskatoon police charge woman in Friday homicide on Eighth Street

Police seek dash cam footage from vehicles travelling west in the 1300 block of Eighth Street East between 6:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Friday.

City police say they have charged a 36-year-old woman with first-degree murder in the death of a 20-year-old woman on Friday.

The names of the accused and the victim have not been released.

The death happened in a parking lot in the 1300 block of Eight Street East on Friday night.

In a news release on Monday, police said they’re asking the public for any available dash cam footage from vehicles travelling westbound in that block between 6:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
