Fire damages main building at Candle Lake Golf Resort; golf still open

A fire at Candle Lake Golf Resort Monday morning caused significant damage to the main building. The golf course remains open.

Fire broke out at a popular golf destination in northern Saskatchewan early Monday morning.

Crews were called to Candle Lake Golf Resort around 12:30 a.m., a news release issued Monday afternoon said.

The fire caused significant damage to sections of the resort’s main building, which contains the restaurant, retail store, coffee shop and administration offices.
