Days before Saskatoon city councillors are expected to vote on a plan to turn a downtown building into a temporary emergency shelter this winter, the city has released a new set of safety plans for the site.

The revised safety measures were described in a Friday news release as being drawn up after feedback from businesses and residents near the former Saskatchewan Transportation Company building.
