In a horrifying incident, a bloodied beauty therapist has been been forced to close down after being violently assaulted in a bar by what's described as a female gang. Elly Brosch, 27, from Barming, Kent, has been left too frightened to leave her house following the attack that resulted in a severe head injury, with disturbing images showing blood smeared over her clothes.

While at Harry's Bar, Brosch was unexpectedly struck down and recounts the moment: "I felt a heavy pressure and blood spurting from the side of my head."

Brosch, who runs her own aesthetics company, is said to have been targeted by a group of women for reasons that remain unclear to her. Recounting the terrifying ordeal, she mentioned: "I just remember there was a group of five or six girls."

She continued: "I had never seen them before in my life."

Authorities have verified that Elly suffered injuries caused by the group at the establishment in Maidstone, Kent, on a Saturday night. Following the assault, she expressed: "It seemed like they smashed a thick whisky glass on one of the umbrella poles and hit me on the head with it."

She also revealed that during the fracas, two significant tufts of hair were yanked out and her handbag's chain strap was damaged. Post-assault, Brosch has stopped taking new clients at her business fearing retribution, stating: "My business is based in Maidstone. I don't want people I don't know to book in."

After being helped by staff members who escorted her to the washroom facilities, Brosch passed out and stated, she lost consciousness "for around 20 minutes or possibly longer".

She revealed that the gash was dangerously close to an artery, causing her to lose "two cups of blood". Elly endured a three-hour wait for an ambulance before deciding to take herself to the hospital where her 4cm deep wound was glued together.

Following the unprovoked assault, she admits to feeling apprehensive about venturing out again and has been unable to return to work. She confessed: "I'm just keeping myself to myself."

"It's been hard to heal. I have to keep going back to have it re-glued as it keeps coming undone."

Kent Police are currently seeking witnesses to the assault. A spokesperson stated: "Police are investigating an assault at Harry's Bar (above The Brenchley) in Maidstone which left a woman suffering head injuries."

"It is reported that at around 11.30pm on Saturday, September 21, the victim was struck by a bottle during an incident involving a group of women who were unknown to her."
