Police probing Birmingham kidnapping issue picture of wanted man

West Midlands Police are appealing for information over the whereabouts of an alleged kidnap suspect. Polie want to trace Mehdi Naqvi, from Birmingham.

Police said the 21-year-old is wanted on suspicion of kidnapping. Police are urging the public that if they spot Naqvi, they should call 999 immediately.

No arrests have been made. Police inquiries are ongoing.

Taking to Facebook, Birmingham Police posted: "Have you seen Mehdi Naqvi? The 21-year-old from #Birmingham is wanted for kidnapping?

"If you see him, call 999 immediately quoting crime reference 20/783792/24."
