A county lines dealer caught red-handed throwing wraps of Class A drugs from a window in Worcester has been jailed. Brandon Scott was convicted of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin on Monday, October 7.

The 26-year-old was suspected of dealing drugs in the Wyld’s Lane area of Worcester in October 2023. The next day, police entered an address in Fieldhouse Gardens where Scott was staying and saw him throw 18 wraps out of cocaine and heroin from a window.

Officers seized his phone which showed he was in contact with a count lines drugs line – a dedicated number used to run the organised network. Scott denied he was selling the drugs.

Instead, he claimed had bulk bought the narcotics for personal use. But a police probe into his phone messages found he had been dealing to users.

Scott, of Baxters Walk, Malvern, was convicted at Worcester Crown Court. He was jailed for three years.

Det Con Stuart King, of the South Worcestershire County Lines team, said: “Scott was spotted drug dealing and the next day caught red handed trying to throw away wraps he was selling when we turned up at an address he was staying at.

“Further investigations showed he was involved in a county line, so we are pleased his conviction puts another drug dealing enterprise out of action and the perpetrator behind bars. We will not stop in our ongoing efforts to tackle county lines dealers and the harm they reap on the communities we are here to protect and serve.”
