Amanda Owen shares big change in her children in admission about the future

by · Birmingham Live

Amanda Owen has revealed her children are starting to spread their wings as she discussed their future. The mum-of nine confessed in her new series Our Farm Next Door, which sees Amanda and ex husband Clive and their family renovating a farmhouse, that her children were 'going their own way'.

Reflecting on the times ahead, Amanda remarked: "We'll see the kids growing up and going their own way and we'll also see the house evolving as well. Suddenly, [they] want to head towards civilisation.

"They want to go to places where the phone works and where you can order a Deliveroo. Y'know, living the high life."

Amanda feels that might be drawn back to the farm life though, adding: "You realise that it's actually quite fun riding horses, slobbing about in wellies and they all come back again. You can have the best of both worlds. And I think that's great!"

Amanda previously told HELLO! about how some of her children intend to follow in her and Clive's footsteps. She said: "My son Sidney (12) is absolutely hellbent on being a farmer," she revealed.

"Miles (16) too, he loves his farming," she explained. "I just want to be able to facilitate that. I'm not going, 'Here's your farm, get on with it', because that's no lesson learned whatsoever.

"Clive and I will give them opportunities, but we won't hand it to them on a plate."

Amanda and Clive are parents to Clemmy, Annas, Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney and youngest, Nancy. Amanda's relationship with Clive hit the rocks and in 2022 the couple announced their split.

But they still work together and co-parent their children. It was later revealed that Amanda had had an affair.
