Teenager stabbed outside Birmingham Sainsbury's as two arrested on suspicion of attempted murder

Police and paramedics were called to the junction of Frankley Beeches Road and A38 Bristol Road South, at around 12.50am on Monday (Nov 18), where they found the seriously wounded 15-year-old victim.
He was taken to hospital with 'life threatening' injuries. Two teenage boys have since been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
A cordon has been placed around the scene and traffic is being diverted as investigations take place this morning. Drivers are being urged to consider alternative routes.

West Midlands Police said: "We have arrested two teenagers after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in Northfield in the early hours of this morning. We were called to the junction of Frankley Beeches Road and A38 Bristol Road South, at around 12.50am.
"He was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries, where he remains. We arrested two teenage boys on suspicion of attempted murder.
"A cordon is in place on A38 between Frankley Beeches Road and Lockwood Road while we forensically examine the area. We are in the early stages of our investigation and our officers working hard to establish the full details on the incident."
